Build Wisely! Study English Wholeheartedly!

Dear students,

I thank God because I've learned  what my talent is.Teaching English is the thing that I do passionately.I forget my problems and I genuinely smile when I read you stories or  pronounce words. It's my great happiness to bless  and share what I know. English might be difficult  for some but don't focus on that.I invite you to open up your mind and positively think that you can reach your goals.Always study wholeheartedly, okay?

Do You Really Want To Be Better In English?

Are you one of the English learners who want to be better in English but doesn't want to study English?

Did my above question confuse you?

Most English learners want to be better in the language  but they reason out that they're not good in English and they fear that their ability is not enough to communicate with an English teacher.

Today, let me teach you about -

Daily Affirmations

Daily affirmations are good thoughts or positive thoughts that you read everyday when you want to achieve your goals.By focusing on your dreams, you ignore fears and you enjoy the present small challenges. Here is a video that would dramatically help you if  you want to be  better in English.

Go and play the video again!
You may also write each sentence on a card, read them everyday and you would be surprised that you are indeed improving in your English skills.

Do You Whine That You're Not Good In English?

Dear ESL students,

Do you whine that you're not good in English?

Stop whining! You have to tell yourself everyday that you are getting better

Here is an article from Seth Godin's blog. Seth Godin is an American entrepreneur, best selling author of twelve books and public speaker.

Two problems with whining

The first is that it doesn't work. You can whine about the government or your friends or your job or your family, but nothing will happen except that you'll waste time.

Worse... far worse... is that whining is a reverse placebo. When you get good at whining, you start noticing evidence that makes your whining more true. So you amplify that and immerse yourself in it, thus creating more evidence, more stuff worth complaining about.
If you spent the same time prattling on about how optimistic you are, you'd have to work hard to make that true...

New words to  study:
1. whine -  to complain in a childish way
2. placebo - something that treats
3. amplify- increase the volume of
4. immerse- focus / throw into
5.prattle - to talk without meaning/ to talk foolishly
6.optimistic-hopeful/ You are optimistic when you expect  that good things will happen.

Defy Gravity

Some ESL students don't want to start studying English because they feel that they're not good in English.

You read that right.Ironic, huh? This thinking applies not just in studying English but  life in general. Usually, we limit ourselves to what we are familiar with. When we see others to be more efficient in something, we pull ourselves down and we tell ourselves that we can't do the things that they do.

Do you dream to improve your English skills? Gravity might be unavoidable, but I challenge you to defy it.
