AD VERB-a word that tells us more about a verb. It "qualifies" or "modifies":

2. adjectives
He is really handsome. (How handsome is he?)
3 other adverbs
She drives incredibly slowly. (How slowly does she drive?)
Most adverbs in English are formed by adding -ly
